A quick introduction

Post by Sma11wood » Mon Oct 12, 2009 3:03 am

Hi everyone,

Sma11wood here. I was browsing around the xkcd forums earlier today and linked through to here from a user's signature, and became instantly interested. I'm 19, from Australia, and I'm currently studying philosophy and linguistics among other things at university. I have an itch to scratch when it comes to matters of religion, politics, and other often controversial topics, and too frequently discussions with all but a few of my real-life friends degenerate quickly. That's why its nice when I come across an area where discussions of that type can thrive. I look forward to getting to know you, and hopefully contributing something useful.

Thanks,

Mike (or Sma11wood)

Hi there Mike. Welcome to Ratz. I hope you find what you are looking for here. We discuss everything and everything and just about the only thing that is off topic is staying on topic!

Please leave your cheese tribute outside the staffroom, take a seat (but bring it back when you've done with it) and enjoy.
