Hi from Cupper

Post by cupper3 » Sat Jul 07, 2012 5:34 am

Greetings:

I have been one of those 'lurkers' for a while, and then registered. There was a small hiccup in my acceptance by the moderators, but all is well that ends well.

I am spiritual from the perspective that I have a deep respect for nature, and not only from the Gaia perspective, but that which I perceive from a larger, universal basis. It's a long story, and I am sure postings will show what I mean over time.

I have have had significant discussions with Christian apologists over the years, and have a pretty good understanding of what their next discussion points will be, and am quite prepared to engage. I can quote chapter and verse as well as they can, but mine tend to be the ones they don't want to hear about :)

I look forward to some significant philosophical discussions, as it appears that there are people here who have the intellectual capacity to keep up and challenge me at times.

I look forward to being a long term contributor.

Welcome, Cupper! And whatever you do, never, EVER share whatnots with anyone on the interwebz! Especially FBM! It can cause diseases of the rectum, fiscal stagnation, Hetherington's rainbow blight in crops and higher than usual waistbands! :nono:

Instead, simply pass any cheese you have to the site moderators for... safe-keeping.

I washed my whatnots just yesterday, thank-you-very-much. :sulk:

We've had this conversation before. Letting the dog lick them does not constitute "washing"!

:funny:
A rational skeptic should be able to discuss and debate anything, no matter how much they may personally disagree with that point of view. Discussing a subject is not agreeing with it, but understanding it.

Thanks all for the welcome, and I see that there are some seriously deranged posters who also enjoy their own contributions.

Sounds like it will be fun!
