Do we still need this WFFF?
Do we still need this WFFF?
I was just wondering, since we've moved server (some time ago now) and seem to have eliminated the filter issues some members had with the previous server, is this work filter friendly forum still needed? I've noticed those who had problems back then (El, The Dawktor, EL, Woodbutcher) are now posting all over the board, presumably without work filter issues?
If it's no longer needed, can I suggest the WFFF threads be moved to the other relevent subforums and the closure of WFFF?

I think there are still issues caused by work and school filters that block on a page-by-page basis, depending on whether the page itself contains swear words. But, perhaps it it redundant now.... we could just move it's whole contents to the Pub?
Re: Do we still need this WFFF?
I guess those members who had issues before will be able to tell us if they're resolved for them now.
I was thinking we distribute the threads around to the relevent forums - the vegetarian and hobby/leisure threads would go to the lifestyle forum, for example ...

I agree. It doesn't seem necessary anymore. Hopefully, if any members still need it, they'll speak up.

I just sent a PM to the 4 people mentioned in the OP to let them know about this thread - in case they missed it.

I'm OK with it. The filtering is page-by-page type. Sometimes I can access a thread but can't reply to it. Doesn't seem to make any sense.

I think part of it's creation was for me and my schools ridiculous filter.
But at the end of the day if cunt posted or any swearing was included in the thread I couldn't get on it anyway so I'm happy for it's execution.

Alrighty, I'll move a few threads. Any I'm unsure about, like CJ's gallery thread, I'll ask the member who started the thread.
So, CJ, where to move the gallery?
Edit, better still. CJ, you put it where you think is best.

Re: Do we still need this WFFF?
Okay, found new homes for all the threads except The Gallery (CJ can move it) and MCJ's Corset thread. I'll send her a pm and ask where she'd like it moved. I was thinking Lifestyle but if MCJ wants to keep it bot and guest free, The Pub might be better.
Edit: The Lifestyle forum is bot and guest free, but MCJ is still invited to decide where her thread is moved.

Re: Do we still need this WFFF?
Can we rename WFFF to 'The Lounge' and keep it where it is and keep The Gallery in it. The Lounge is just a room in The Pub for less boisterous discussion and limited derails?Charlou wrote:Alrighty, I'll move a few threads.
