Aloha

Post by brifter » Sun Jun 27, 2010 9:52 am

I am relatively new to this site, having been nudged in its direction by a bespectacled, bewhiskered colleague who always dresses in (Ashton)black. I was chatting recently with him about some ideas I have, one of which is some alternate lyrics for a male version of Lily Allen's The Fear. I do not have the 'right voice' for the piece, nor the facilities and know-how to make a recording of it and he sugested that someone out there might just be up for it.
Time flies. No man can. Their flight is too irregular.

Welcome! We have a few talented voices here. And a great lot of terrible ones. (You know who you are.)

Welcome, brifter. We've got several talented musicians and a few who do recordings.

Oh, I'm not one of them, by the way...

Welcome brifter!

Seeing as it's Sunday morning for lots of us, a good many people are off giving thanks to the Lord or something. :levi:

There's a "Ratz Creative Corner" somewhere on the forum. You could post the lyrics in there, with a you tube of the soundtrack and someone may or may not pick it up. (Can't promise anything) The ratz are a fickle lot.

About me: Twoflower is the optimistic-but-naive tourist. He often runs into danger, being certain that nothing bad will happen to him since he is not involved. Welcome!
I'm wild just like a rock, a stone, a tree
And I'm free, just like the wind the breeze that blows
And I flow, just like a brook, a stream, the rain
And I fly, just like a bird up in the sky
And I'll surely die, just like a flower plucked
And dragged away and thrown away
And then one day it turns to clay
It blows away, it finds a ray, it finds its way
And there it lays until the rain and sun
Then I breathe, just like the wind the breeze that blows
And I grow, just like a baby breastfeeding
And it's beautiful, that's life

So, eh, brifter, tell us a little more about yourself. Got any hobbies? Any problems? Any cross-dressiong co-workers?
