Sorry, reference to a tv show called Space: Above and beyond, there were bio-engineered humans in it who had the equivalent of a navel in their necks from the tanks in which they were grown.

The world is a thing of utter inordinate complexity and richness and strangeness that is absolutely awesome. I mean the idea that such complexity can arise not only out of such simplicity, but probably absolutely out of nothing, is the most fabulous extraordinary idea. And once you get some kind of inkling of how that might have happened, it's just wonderful. And . . . the opportunity to spend 70 or 80 years of your life in such a universe is time well spent as far as I am concerned.

I liked that show when it got started, but it petered out after one season. Same with Earth2.

I used to watch that too, rewatching S:A&B on Veoh at the moment, forgotten how good some of it was, despite horribly dated FX, early CGI didn't age well.

Welcome, lexx! :td:

Is there any chance you could get a message to Kim Jong Il and tell to stop acting like a twat? (I hear he still talks to you guys.)

I didn't think so. Just checking.

Reading this thread I'm very aware that I've forgotten most of the Russian I once knew :( looks like I need to get some practice in.

Psi, are you Russian living in Canada or do you just speak Russian?

Good to meet you Lexx.
