As for the accent thing, it happens to me too. I had a discussion with Pappa about this when we first met up, when I read posts of members I haven't met they all have a non-descript English accent in my mind, after I meet them I hear their voice when I read. Unfortunately this also applies to novels, I met Terry Pratchett a few years back and now I read his novels with his lisp
it makes some of his books funnier.
After meeting Geoff though, go back to TAF and find his thread with Bess where they're flirting, it's one of the funniest things on the internet when you imagine his voice with the words
