You two haven't been reading up on your Dickens! :mod:

The narrative of David Copperfield is written in a descriptive, chronological manner. It sometimes gets used over here as a way of saying "tell me about your life". Or at least it used to be but I doubt most of the people in the UK have even read it.

Hi there, Bangladesh? Might want to be a little more careful next time. :mod:

The world is a thing of utter inordinate complexity and richness and strangeness that is absolutely awesome. I mean the idea that such complexity can arise not only out of such simplicity, but probably absolutely out of nothing, is the most fabulous extraordinary idea. And once you get some kind of inkling of how that might have happened, it's just wonderful. And . . . the opportunity to spend 70 or 80 years of your life in such a universe is time well spent as far as I am concerned.

What do you mean?

I do enjoy watching cricket. But I don't get as much time for that as I used to when I was younger.

By the way, nice meeting you, Don't Panic and Elessarina.

What time is it over there?

One thing that always confuses me on here is the time zones.
We have no great war, no great depression.
Our great war is a spiritual war.
Our great depression is our lives.

Hello there! Welcome, don't mind the squid he's tame enough. If he gets too smoochy just give him a smack.
I'm wild just like a rock, a stone, a tree
And I'm free, just like the wind the breeze that blows
And I flow, just like a brook, a stream, the rain
And I fly, just like a bird up in the sky
And I'll surely die, just like a flower plucked
And dragged away and thrown away
And then one day it turns to clay
It blows away, it finds a ray, it finds its way
And there it lays until the rain and sun
Then I breathe, just like the wind the breeze that blows
And I grow, just like a baby breastfeeding
And it's beautiful, that's life

:D It's pretty hot here. The temperature today is 35°C (95°F) and humidity is 63%. How's the weather over there (this is small talk too)?
Exactly the same in...the Midwest of the USA, near the Bible Belt.
