Damn that felt like shit. What the fuck was that about?
:what: :what: :what:

Well, looks like a new home.

What I've found with a few discussions I've had lately is this self-satisfaction that people express with their proffessed open mindedness. In realty it ammounts to wilful ignorance and intellectual cowardice as they are choosing to not form any sort of opinion on a particular topic. Basically "I don't know and I'm not going to look at any evidence because I'm quite happy on this fence."

I wouldn't be surprised if he already has the link here (it was spammed a lot anyways :P) and has been lurking about.

NOTE REGARDING PMs ON RATZ!
You have unlimited PMs and you can add up to 42 (don't ask) user folders and set rules to place incoming PMs so they go to specific folders This is a very PM friendly place.

Just a thought for the refugees.

Chris

About me: If I had my way I'd buy a few acres of land and an old tractor. I'd drive the old tractor around the land and passers-by would stop to ask me what kind of crop I was farming. "Crop?" I'd say, "Crops are work, I'm planting ideas."

Well, it's morning now. Also, it got cold overnight. I can tell because the weird little man on my TV said so. Also, my arthritis is giving me hell. Guess I'll have to do those hateful exercises, or maybe just skip the coffee and head right for the beer.

I'm feeling slightly better about the whole thing, although if anybody runs into Tarby, make sure the little historian knows about this place. It just occurred to me that I don't know Tarby's gender. The internet is a strange place.

It sounds like MacDoc is going to be setting up a place for refugees too. I'm just guessing, but it'll likely be pretty climate change-centric. Anyway, if anybody is interested, let me know. I don't want to splinter this place though, not with all this cheese and gin.

Right, just a quick word to all those who chose to pun in this thread.

I have noticed it and as soon as I have a free moment(or can corrupt a mod) warnings will be forthcoming. :mod:

This sort of carry on is not acceptable, keep it up and I'll send you back to Josh. :dp:

The world is a thing of utter inordinate complexity and richness and strangeness that is absolutely awesome. I mean the idea that such complexity can arise not only out of such simplicity, but probably absolutely out of nothing, is the most fabulous extraordinary idea. And once you get some kind of inkling of how that might have happened, it's just wonderful. And . . . the opportunity to spend 70 or 80 years of your life in such a universe is time well spent as far as I am concerned.

As this thread has gone the way of all things Ratz I'll be setting up another thread to list the survivors. After some more coffee, of course. If anybody doesn't see somebody that should be on that list by now, please contact them or send me their email via PM and I'll get in touch.

I'm trying, but I keep on tripping over the shell shocked and those suffering from PTSD. Give us your huddled masses. Give me a mass. No, forget that, I don't want the Pope here.
