We were based out of Japan, but spent most of our time at sea, so I've been all over Japan, as well as visiting Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia, Busan in Korea, Guam, Sydney, Brisbane, and Perth in Australia, Singapore, and Hong Kong in China. The ports were pretty cool, but our job was no joke, so I'm definitely glad to be home.

I got a nice soapbox, but I've been known to step off once in a while. I'll throw a few sea-stories at you guys when I want a laugh.
You weren't on the Midway by any chance?

I remember the RRS.

Bunch of tossers.

hehe, I was around that age (a bit younger) when I learned that some people don't believe in God .. In hindsight, it was a useful eye opener ..
