5'4 is average?
For a girl, I guess so. I have to keep remembering that not everyone has the good fortune of being 6'4.
--_-- Yes, it is average for females. The low end of average but average nonetheless.

The man part is seriously in question.

The good hockey colleges are the ones I am afraid of. I doubt I'd make it into D1 schools, but even the lower lever is very intense. I might just end up playing on a a vague club team...

I have no idea where I want to go to college/what I want to go into though. This is steadily becoming more of a problem. >.<'
Yeah, getting into a D1 school would be REALLY tough. You would definitely need to be on top of your game, and highly ranked. But if you did get into a D1 school, you can get a great education for free. That's the upside to being really good at sports.

How much time do you have to decide?

I doubt I'm good enough to get into many/any D1 schools in the first place x_x Girl's hockey is just so competitive right now, and my age group has a -lot- of talent. One girl, a year younger than I, already has her stick in the hockey hall of fame as she scored the winning goal for our national U19 team. O.o And D3 doesn't offer scholarships, so it'd just take up a lot of time and I probably wouldn't get a lot of playing time.
Besides I should probably really concentrate on my schoolwork for then... *sigh* Also, I don't want to limit my choices based on sports, you know?
