The Pope was today knocked down at the start of Christmas mass by a woman who hopped over the barriers. The woman was said to be, "Mentally unstable."

Which is probably why she went unnoticed among a crowd of Christians.

I've just joined up and thought I'd introduce myself. I'm Pete and am a post grad student from Australia studying evolutionary genetics and zoology. I'm an Atheist, blogger (http://thecaudallure.blogspot.com/), christ-mythicist, secular humanist and salt and vinegar chip addict. Nice to meet you all!

Nice to meet you all! :D

Haha yeah pordfrefect, i'm a huge fan of robert price and a few other biblical scholars who are christ mythicists also. I just don't see there being enough evidence to even suggest jesus was a real person, much like samson and moses etc. There is a great deal of evidence too that contradicts his existence too, ie, places he went, things he did, people he met, etc.

Hi PD, greetings from Canada. Good to have you here, post some stuff about Christ theories when you get a chance. It makes an interesting read.

Hello, PeteDarwin! I thought Salt & Vinegar chips were a Canadian thing, because most of the Americans I know never heard of them. Maybe it's a Commonwealth thing! Ha! Anyway, nice to meet you, so to speak.
