When tackling radicalisation one of the important points found here was the avoidance of the existence of ghetto's. Plenty of money has been used to set up organisations that form contacts in the districts where muslims live. That is what happened in Molenbeek in Brussels.
Another point is the non existence of muslim schools. This prevents any concentration of radical thoughts.

We foster "societies" that reduce the importance of community and raises up selfishness, individualism, and greed. It's why suicides are up, and probably plays a big part in why young socially dislocated men turn to radical preachers in an effort to fit in with something. Muslims can fit in well with western society by and large, as can be seen in Australia. I don't know what's gone wrong in Europe and the US, but I expect our highly diverse society here in Australia means Muslims are much more likely to be accepted and treated with a level of respect, notwithstanding the mild undercurrent of racism that exists here.

2.2% of Australia's population is Muslim. That's not much different to Luxembourg's 2.6%. In Netherlands it's 5.5%.

ETA: France: 9.6% and the UK 4.6%.

I don't know how up to date those figures are.

They have a high birthrate since their future is in paradise rather than a world with finite resources....that's the thing to consider. :tea:

Consider regarding what? That's got nothing to do with radicalisation, unless your thesis is that Muslims are predisposed to be radical.

That's what Thomas Malthus said about the poor a couple of hundred years ago. He said it would be the end of civilisation.

Also how it is concentrated. The west (North and South Holland) as about 95% with both Rotterdam and the Hague having the majority.

I suspect Australia's distribution is similarly uneven.

The trouble is as well what is a muslim? Mosques these days are pretty empty. Plenty of imams are reportedly concerned. Some of the smaller mosques have closed down already. The plans for the biggest mosque in Europe have been withdrawn. Money is never a problem just numbers.
