That's what Thomas Malthus said about the poor a couple of hundred years ago. He said it would be the end of civilisation.
and maybe he was right.

...delayed by the arrival of coal then oil and now fracking technology but the trainwreck of civilization is still approaching and each miracle cure is more dubious than the previous....with fracking suffering both the red queen effect and causing large-scale damage to fresh water resources...it's all a matter of time, not today but soon enough. Yeah. Right. So we keep getting told for the past couple of millennia.

Stop being so impatient. Living is about the journey not the destination. Which will get here soon enough have no doubt. Even if you are not around to see it. :read:

2.2% of Australia's population is Muslim. That's not much different to Luxembourg's 2.6%. In Netherlands it's 5.5%.

ETA: France: 9.6% and the UK 4.6%.

I don't know how up to date those figures are.
Also how it is concentrated. The west (North and South Holland) as about 95% with both Rotterdam and the Hague having the majority.
I suspect Australia's distribution is similarly uneven.
And I suspect that it is in the small areas of high concentration that the radical clerics peddle their messages to the disaffected youth...

The (temporary) prosperity that cheap plentiful energy brought resulted in REDUCED birth rates. So your "theory" is spastic.
