Responding to religiously loony relatives

I have a cousin more or less my age who is an evangelical Christian. We have had more contact of late due to family issues and as a result he has started to send me photos more or less randomly by email. The last lot he sent me were from one of his holy roller weekends. He also sent me this message. The response from me is a little reserved as we need to remain civil for family reasons - plus I like his brother enormously. Any suggestions as to what next if he persists most welcome. The following is verbatim from his email and my response..

Thanks for the photos John. Please remember I am an atheist however and don't believe in gods doing amazing things or anything else for that matter. Good luck to you if you do of course.

I would kind of like him to get my point though. His god did wonderful healy things over the weekend. I would quite like John to ponder the hundreds of thousands of medical procedures that took place over the same period and did rather more healy things. Not that he will get it of course.

Quite a few off my family are religious and post all that "Type Amen" shite on FB. Like typing "Amen" on a fucking picture of a premature baby is going to do shit, but apparently it makes them feel like they're doing something Good and Worthwhile. I just unfollow them, they're still friends but I don't see their posts unless I look for them. Not worth getting into a discussion that is doomed to failure, they're not going to listen to reason or logic no matter what. They're happy in their delusion, it seems. I don't post much about politics or religion on FB, I just don't see it as the appropriate forum. I've unfollowed a lot of people, I'm sick to fucking death of Trump and Bernie and Hillary and Jesus and Obama and triggers and social justice and all the rest of the bullshit.

Yeah, that's the way my father's 3rd wife was. I would tell her over and over again, very politely, that I didn't care for this sort of thing and please stop. She must've just considered me a tough nut to crack but by golly she was gonna take on the challenge and keep trying because after all it was my soul at stake, wasn't it.
Finally I blasted her, sent her an e-mail telling her in no uncertain terms exactly how I felt about the fuckwittery that is religion. She stopped sending me e-mails after that, of any kind. Of course the next time I saw her she asked me why I hated God so much
These people just don't get it. Anyway she's dead now, thank goodness.
