Re: Stoic Week 2015
Does anyone else find that stoicism comes a little easier after a few G & Ts?

Re: Stoic Week 2015
“You live as if you were destined to live forever, no thought of your frailty ever enters your head, of how much time has already gone by you take no heed. You squander time as if you drew from a full and abundant supply, though all the while that day which you bestow on some person or thing is perhaps your last.” -- Seneca

I don't know, I think I find the idea of analyzing my life at this stage unappealing. I'm not looking for answers to life, and I guess I don't want to.

There are only two rules for anything you want to do or achieve in life:
- Begin.
- Continue.

Re: Stoic Week 2015
Just live life virtuously, this is all it takes. And no, virtually and virtuously are not the same.

Re: Stoic Week 2015
Indeed. And in order to do that you only have to discover what virtue really means.

To a cold and uncaring universe, virtue and vice are both simply human illusions...
