Actually, I don't need to pose a question.
The answer is always the same to EVERY question. God did it with his magic.
And he moves in mysterious ways.
That's all you need. Every question sorted. Wonderful stuff.
I think I can see where you were going wrong.laklak wrote:I moved in mysterious ways the other day. Couldn't shit for love or money,
One day, a few sessions with a good psychoanalyst will help you deal with the scars inflicted by someone with 2 X chromosomes in your past...DaveDodo007 wrote:Yeah, religious people are fucking retards who doesn't know this. Though don't get to thinking atheists are any better, just look at how many have swopped atheism for feminism and you know they are a bunch of retards as well.
Seriously, Equivocation. Feminism = women, since when. Are you happy that you need to resort to logical fallacies rather than admit there might be something wrong with feminism? Aren't you even a little bit miffed by the anti-free speech going on around Western universities? Fuck me the most annoying feminists are the male feminists and always have been, they can't seem to switch the dogma off. Even feminists wont date them the sad pathetic nervous wrecks, lol.JimC wrote:One day, a few sessions with a good psychoanalyst will help you deal with the scars inflicted by someone with 2 X chromosomes in your past...DaveDodo007 wrote:Yeah, religious people are fucking retards who doesn't know this. It is easy to mock, though how were our ancestors suppose to answer this very question? They didn't have the knowledge we have now, It is quite easy to see how religion evolved. Even now look at how many people who are non believers still cling to some dubious moral code. There probably exist some part of the human psyche that needs this belief just to function, obvious not with all humans but with a hell of a lot of them.mistermack wrote:.

And how does he know that?Scumple wrote:A universe with a G-d in it would be very different to one without a G-d in it. Rocket scientist said that not me. I'm not sure I exist most days....
Are they? Or are the Atheists the retards? To discover which is which simply post your critically robust scientific evidence that a universe with God is different from a universe without God.DaveDodo007 wrote:Yeah, religious people are fucking retards who doesn't know this.

I didn't mock our ancestors. I agree, they didn't have the advantages that we have.DaveDodo007 wrote:It is easy to mock, though how were our ancestors suppose to answer this very question? It's also a basic human trait to observe something that others do not observe and conclude that the observation is valid and true. You know, like the whole "tree falling in the forest" thing.mistermack wrote:I didn't mock our ancestors. It's a basic inherited human trait, to form a mental picture of a living entity, to explain physical occurrences that we don't understand.
Indeed. From an evolutionary point of view, this is an advantageous trait.
And guess what? The image, even if faulty, does not change the simple truth that the predator exists, does it?In wild Africa, many predators hunt mainly by night. So the only way that you can be aware of their presence is from signs found in the daytime. So you see signs, and picture what kind of creature made those signs. It's a fundamental way of understanding your environment, that helps you stay alive.
And just like the ancestor, a modern image of what God looks like in no way affects the factual existence or non-existence of God. However, the image exists for a reason, probably the result of a personal but unexplainable phenomenon that factually occurred which generated the image. So when modern people see things that they don't understand, it's perfectly natural to attribute those signs to some kind of entity. And the bigger the mystery, the bigger the imagined entity.
Or maybe we observed an actual superhuman (but entirely natural) entity, or his handiwork. And that's why, when we first began to ponder the cause of the bigger things, like how the world came about, we imagined a superhuman entity. As no human was capable of creating worlds, that seemed obvious.
Don't quotemine me as I was pointing out retardness happens all along the religion/non religion spectrum.Seth wrote:Are they? Or are the Atheists the retards? Those who make the claim that a universe with God would be different from a universe without God but cannot provide this evidence are the retards.
