More "god can heal" stupidity

Response from RickD
Derrick, I did hours upon hours of research last year when we found out that my dad had liver cancer.

Wow! Hours and hours of cancer research!
I've come to the conclusion that God designed our bodies in such a way that it will heal itself if given the proper foods
So that's where the scientists are going wrong! :fp:
That's not to say that God can't supernaturally heal anyone if it's His will. My family, and family's friends KNEW that God could heal my Dad
That's nice. :D
My Dad died

:fp:

And then further down..... Response from Gman.
Want a miracle? The fact that we are breathing is more than enough proof that God created it all.. End of story..
Hmmm, RickD's dad isn't breathing. That must be proof there IS no god.

It's interesting...if the body will heal itself if given the proper foods, then we should see some commonalities among cancer survivors who are healed - shouldn't they be eating similar foods? We can do a double blind study, feeding cancer patients certain foods that appear to correlate with cancer survivors and see which ones increase the rate of healing, no?

Also, if God can heal anyone, if it's his will, then if someone is not healed, it must be his will not to heal that person.

Is there something that shows how many amputees have been healed by god?

God created cancer. If we resist cancer we are attempting to thwart God's will.

So it's chips and salsa for me from now on.

I had a headache yesterday. I prayed to god to heal me, took a nurofen and HEY PRESTO, my headache was cured.
Generally opening mouth simply to change the foot that I'll be putting in there

Only because God has a plan that includes curing your headache. Satan was thwarted when you didn't get a box of rifles and head for a clock tower because of your headache. -

Don't bother joining this discussion forum. They don't like "debate".
It is a website to strengthen Christians in their faith as well as allow non-Christians who want to ask sincere questions about (not debate against) Christian beliefs

Maybe they've lost too many members through "reason"?

Or they're too stupid to do it properly?

From their main website, of which that forum is part of, I have found a list of common atheists myths.

They stick that batcrap up there then don't allow debate?

"it doesn't take complete knowledge on the subject. It just takes a willingness to look at the facts, and opinions from all sides. Even the ingredients on the vaccines tell what the side effects are. Bart, I'm not one to jump on the conspiracy bandwagons, just for the sake of it. But, my research has led me to believe that Big Pharmaceutical profits are behind the poisoning of the people with toxic vaccines. " rick D

I am living proof that chips and salsa, regardless of the quantity consumed, do not cause cancer.
