I don't see the "landlord" being involved though. I asked Mandelson directly, so that analogy is irrelevant.

My issue is not that I'm offended by "mate" but that he ignores requests and interactions on all levels, and I was trying to engage him to respond to something rather than gliding over every reply he gets on his mission to do whatever his mission is. I couldn't really give a tuppeny fuck about him really, but I want to stave off the boredom.
