Significance is based on perspective. Very small things are very significant from different perspectives. We are insignificant from an imaginary perspective of some entity that is not concerned with us, or from an imagined "objective" perspective concerned with things 14 billion light years across and in multiple dimensions. To me, however, my little girls are more significant than most of the universe, if not all.

The universe is very important, to me. Without it, I wouldn't be here.

Importance depends on perspective. You, Dutchy, are of almost no importance to me, as you are on of 7.5 billion people, give or take, and to me you are just a screen name on an internet forum. But, my kids are of prime importance to me. Yet, I am of little to no importance to you for the same reasons.

The deity either doesn't exist, or it finds important what it finds important, and that may be everything.
