You were talking about propaganda or as Americans call it "false news". NK is not the only country to use it. Trump has lied since he has been in power. He never tells the straight truth. Is that any different to NK?

What Trump does is lie. What the American media do is broadly try to tell the story as they see it - usually from a certain political perspective - and there are multiple perspectives (other than a Marxist one I guess). You can take your pick which you choose.

What NK does is have a party line. Their propaganda supports it and distorts the truth in support of its own system and to criticise the USA's system. You don't have a choice there. If you don't swallow the party line and you let it be known you are in for a long term in a labour camp or worse.

I wasn't comparing the USA to Europe - so I'm not going there. That's been chewed over many a time here. They are different and some shit is better in one and other shit better in the other!

America is a wonderful country for the majority of its citizens. Not all, but certainly a majority, and well past a majority. This does not mean that the US is without fault - there are plenty. However, the US is a place where millions of people struggle to get to. It's not because it's worse here, that's for sure.
