As you can see, we are a bunch of people who look with a very critical eye all religions, not only islam. What I would be very interested to read would be why did you hate it in the first place, and what changed your mind to the point of converting to that faith.

I don't waste emotional energy on hate. Apathy is the real opposite of love, IMO.

I'm not a fan of blindly following whatever makes you feel good atm to point that you're willing to kill people who get in your way or even simply disagree with whatever you happen to be blindly following atm.

If you want to see the way things really are, as opposed to filtering reality through a comfortable bullshit story, I suggest you question all beliefs and faiths. If there were any evidence that they were true, you wouldn't need belief or faith. It would then be knowledge.

What the Koran has to say about the value of women, and how to treat them:

What happens to non-Muslims after death:

What is your reason for not liking muslims. Why do you hate Islam?

I don't dislike Muslims. Every Muslim I've met has been pleasant and a good person. Of course, I don't usually tell them I'm a Jew.

I dislike Islam because of how it seems to affect the otherwise sane human mind. For example, it seems to make minds absolutely incapable of telling the difference between disliking Islam and disliking Muslims. That's a damage to thinking that I would not before have thought possible without an ice pick. Yet Islam seems to be able to do it.

I am a new muslim because I converted recently. I was ignorant and when it was removed, I saw the beauty of this faith. Its so clear and simple.

So that answers one question I asked in your intro thread. I suspected as much.

But, before converting, I also used to hate Islam. Like other people, I thought all muslims were terrorists who want to blow us all up, and all other usual stuff that was anti-islam.

Why on earth would you think that? Most Muslims have no interest in blowing anyone up. They're too busy getting on with living.

But this is not about me. I want to ask you a basic question:

What is your reason for not liking muslims.

Major assumption there, kiddo. I'd hazard a guess that this is about you in some ways. You seem to be assuming that because you used to blindly hate Islam and Muslims then everybody else must be as silly as you were. This isn't the case at all. I get the impression that you said your shahada partly out of guilt when you realised most Muslims were people just like you.That should have been obvious beforehand.

Why do you hate Islam? Just let it out, I want to hear you. If you have serious problem with muslims or islam then say so.

I have a major problem with some Muslims, but it isn't because they are Muslims per se. It is because they are fanatical arseholes who live for killing and destruction. I would have just as big a problem with them if they were being arseholes in the name of anything else other than Islam.

First you have to separate Islam from Muslims, and then you have to separate Muslims into different factions, and then you have to separate the factions into individuals. Forgive me for saying so but you seem to have a very simplistic approach. You give the impression that you want to lump everything in together and not look for finer distinctions.

I think Islam itself is bollocks, and the many and varied reasons for thinking that could make one of those long speeches you seem to want to avoid.

1) a god exists?
2) that god is Allah?
