From what I’m gathering, Islam has been around for 1,400 years…. Christianity has been around for at least 2026 years (BC/AD)
Meaning all major religions came about eons AFTER humans already had existed for hundreds of generations of individuals.

No. Christ after his death in the 'Harrowing of Hell' descended into Hell to Preach the Gospel and bring them into heaven.
Dante in his Inferno has the Pagans residing in another area much like Earth. A physical place with food and drink and weather... which contrasts his later abstract vision of heaven.
