All Things Truss: the story begins...
Liz Truss will fix the NHS, by taking 13 billion of the UK Pounds out of it.

And she'll cure the energy crisis by disinvesting from renewables!

13 M pounds? poor NHS was obviously morbidly obese and she's doing the right thing.

YOu don't have enough sun and if wind were an energy, westminster would power the whole country and have much left to sell abroad.Brian Peacock wrote: ↑Tue Sep 06, 2022 1:32 pmAnd she'll cure the energy crisis by disinvesting from renewables!

Re: All Things Truss: the story begins...
Meets the criteria for a typical sociopathic political mover. The question is where she'll take the show - people are changed by power. Unlike Boris who was revealed to be a greater bumbling fool than any thought was possible it could be something more interesting with the potential for a commoner die-off in the air. Will she push the bus over the cliff, or save it?

She's a tory, so it's gonna be one giant, slow motion train wreck, and she'll charge every citizen for the privilege of sitting in the train while she fattens her nest egg and makes out like a bandit.

Liz Truss has Jacob Sleaze-Frog in her Cabinet.
...proves that she doesn't discriminate against tossers.

Yeah, but knew Boris was a rogue, a liar, a philanderer, and a self-regarding, self-serving toff when we voted for him. Truss, on the other hand, we haven't voted for, and like Gove, being from relatively humble stock, she pathologically seeks the approval of her 'betters' by trying to be the biggest Tory in the room.aufbahrung wrote: ↑Tue Sep 06, 2022 8:12 pmMeets the criteria for a typical sociopathic political mover. I'm hopeful she'll be purging the greens in the Tory party. Not because I'm a climate denialist. But because I'm a singularity geek who see's the best option for solving climate change is to reach the singularity and use mega-scale geo-engineering like space umbrellas over the ice caps rather than a tree hugger solution of returning to some mythical pastoral state that never was. So dig the coal. Let half the planet burn. Reach the singularity and terraform the dying planet with geo-engineering (or scrub the planet if there's more people off world by then?
