Well Chumocracy and corruption live at number 10.

Business card puts Greensill founder at the heart of Downing Street
Lex Greensill described as ‘Senior Adviser, Prime Minister’s Office’, adding to pressure on David Cameron over links to failed financier

Labour has renewed its calls for a full investigation into David Cameron’s role in the collapse of the Greensill finance empire after a business card emerged that appeared to confirm its founder, Lex Greensill, had a role at the heart of Downing Street.

The card, handed to Labour by a business contact who said they received it in 2012, describes Greensill as “Senior Adviser, Prime Minister’s Office”, and gives a personal No 10 email address at which he could be contacted.

A source close to Greensill confirmed the card was genuine, saying it dated from a period when the Australian banker held the title senior adviser, a position to which they said he was appointed by the civil service.

I listen to my father in law when he calls, which is like 5 times a week. Jesus fuck I'm glad we left that place.
Yeah well that's just, like, your opinion, man.

You may have left the landmass but you haven't left the Britain of the mind. :tea:

What a dour, thin-lipped lot so many Scots are, especially in comparison to the Irish. Weird, because the two populations are more closely related than with any other.
So you talk about mobs and the working classes as if they were the question. You've got that eternal idiotic idea that if anarchy came it would come from the poor. Why should it? The poor have been rebels, but they have never been anarchists; they have more interest than anyone else in there being some decent government. The poor man really has a stake in the country. The rich man hasn't; he can go away to New Guinea in a yacht. The poor have sometimes objected to being governed badly; the rich have always objected to being governed at all. Aristocrats were always anarchists. - G.K. Chesterton

They are not Hermit but that is your the knowledge of Irish history. The Northern Irish are related in a few families but the true Irish are Vikings and Spaniards mix. The knackers (aka as travellers, tinkers and any negative name you can think of) are as Spanish as you can get but for the Anglo-Saxon mindset they are the same. The Spanish Armada had quite an influence on Irish society. My wife is from a Viking noble family but never mind and her cousin has spent his life investigating the family history.

You've been drinking the Anglo-Saxon mind altering kool-aid, Hermit.

He certainly has. The true Irish are not a Viking and Spaniard mix. They are Gaels, and since about the fifth century, so are the true Scots. Later invasions added veneers of other populations. Despite those invasions the fact remains that the Irish and the Scottish populations are more closely related to each other than with any other population.
Originally, the Gaels were called Irish and Scots interchangeably, but those names now refer to separate nationalities. ...

Gaelic language and culture originated in Ireland, extending to Dál Riata in western Scotland. In antiquity the Gaels traded with the Roman Empire and also raided Roman Britain. In the Middle Ages, Gaelic culture became dominant throughout the rest of Scotland and the Isle of Man. ...

In the 12th century, Anglo-Normans conquered parts of Ireland (leading to centuries of conflict), while parts of Scotland became Normanized. However, Gaelic culture remained strong throughout Ireland, the Scottish Highlands and Galloway.

Of course you are the expert Hermit and like plenty of experts talk shite. The west coast is full of Viking stock. The Gaels never reached SW Scotland but never mind you found a map. Well done.
