Has nobody pointed out that smoking around alcohol and explosives, or that drinking plus firearms, are really bad ideas?
Rationalia relies on voluntary donations. There is no obligation of course, but if you value this place and want to see it continue please consider making a small donation towards the forum's running costs.
Details on how to do that can be found here.

It's like somebody took all the best parts of Floridaman and rolled them into a single agency.
Yeah well that's just, like, your opinion, man.

Kenosha is typical of a 100 000 city in the Midwest. About 10% black. Omaha at 400 000 is 13%.

"Shocking footage of Biden's America. Looting and rioting BLM extremists are terrorizing the streets in Kenosha. True to their evil socialist ideology, these monsters are even handing out free food. This is an all-out insurrection." http://twitter.com/jelle_simons/status/ ... 9842663424

Lol, he was giving interviews while on the run. He said "they're out hunting me". Yeah, numbnuts, that's what they DO if you shoot someone.

He pulled a gun and they shot him. Yeah, numbnuts, that's what they DO if you point a gun at them.

I like this quote: "I was confident that I did not hit anyone innocent and I made my exit". It's a LOT easier to shoot them if they're ALL guilty, eh? I'll use that when I drop 20 looters with my bullet spewing assault rifle.

As far as I remember, that is the first and only time in recent US history that someone from the far left shot and killed an opponent...

As opposed to countless examples of gun violence from right wing nutters...

A pox on both their houses.

Back in the 70s it was the left doing most of the killing and bombing, now it's the right. I'm not sure it matters if you're caught in the crossfire, which is all I'm worried about. I'm honestly sick of hearing about it from both sides, they all need to STFU and calm their fucking tits.

The leftists are usually just inciting riots. Not killing:

Even back in the 70's, how many people did groups like the Weathermen actually kill?

The slur that BLM and similar protests are all about violence and anarchist terror is busted:

https://www.theage.com.au/world/north-a ... 55sg7.html
About 93 per cent of the racial justice protests that swept the United States this northern summer remained peaceful and non-destructive, according to a report released on Thursday, making the violence and property damage that has dominated political discourse a minute portion of the thousands of demonstrations that followed the May 25 death of George Floyd in Minneapolis police custody.

The report, produced by the non-profit Armed Conflict Location & Event Data Project (ACLED), also concluded that an escalation in government response to protests and a sharp rise in extremist activity means the United States faces a growing risk of "political violence and instability" before the 2020 election.
And, from all I can see, the remaining violent examples of looting and property damage are not planned, but probably come from a mixture of motives, ranging from opportunistic greed to angry despair. It remains true that such actions do the protest movement no favours, and play into conservative "vote for law and order" memes. I would imagine that leaders of various progressive protest movements are trying hard to minimise such actions, for very pragmatic reasons.
