What does that even mean? I'm sure you'll correct me if I'm wrong, but it seems like you think you can reduce racism to a side aspect of the class struggle.

I said something similar not so long ago and people had a bit of trouble parsing it. I said that Capitalism wasn't only built on racism but necessitates it. They said that Capitalism was built on and necessitates exploitation but that there's no requirement for it to be racist. We had a bit of a chat about it in the Capitalism thread, though admittedly I don't think I convinced anyone to take the idea seriously and the discussion petered out.
My posts with Marx's cheeky grin are not entirely serious. I'm taking the piss out of my image here as some kind of rampant Marxist. 8 words and a piccy doesn't express or represent the totality of my views - nor was it intended to. While I'm a rampant Leftie in general, I'm not what one might call a 'class reductionist' - which is a rather simplistic, one-dimensional analysis, imo. I could say more (when couldn't I eh?) but I'd like to hear some more of your thoughts on the intersection of class and race before writing a book about it.
