That's right, the infection rate of a communicable disease us a race issue.

Kakistocracy in action.
Officials at the Department of Health and Human Services sent more than a dozen workers to receive the first Americans evacuated from Wuhan, China, the epicenter of the coronavirus outbreak, without proper training for infection control or appropriate protective gear, according to a whistleblower complaint.

The workers did not show symptoms of infection and were not tested for the virus, according to lawyers for the whistleblower, a senior HHS official based in Washington who oversees workers at the Administration for Children and Families, a unit within HHS.

The whistleblower is seeking federal protection, alleging she was unfairly and improperly reassigned after raising concerns about the safety of these workers to HHS officials, including those within the office of Health and Human Services Secretary Alex Azar. She was told Feb. 19 that if she does not accept the new position in 15 days, which is March 5, she would be terminated.

The whistleblower has decades of experience in the field, received two HHS department awards from Azar last year and has received the highest performance evaluations, her lawyers said.

Tick Tock, motherfuckers. Best get right with Jesus, time runnin' out. Day of Judgement commin', Lawd yes.

Heard that from an old lady outside Detweiler's farm market today. Not the motherfucker part, the Jesus bit. They play Jesus music at Detweiler's and it's full of ancient Florida retirees, there's Jesus to spare. Good food, though.

Interesting.

Maybe the NK approach would be to shut down its cities and towns, which it could easily do. However the death toll from starvation could be higher than allowing it to spread and burn out.

All those stupid masks are a waste of time. Washing your hands properly has more effect.

Should mention that Australian medical scientists are the best medical scientists. We've started animal testing of a vaccine.

In Switzerland, the authorities banned all big events (1000 people and more) so the Autosalon in Geneva was cancelled, for example. From zero cases couple of days ago, to 15 already today.

Went to the pharmacy today to fill a prescription, and thought I'd grab a face mask. All sold out. Interestingly there was a sign at the counter claiming that masks aren't any good at stopping you getting the virus, but are useful to stop a person with it spreading it. I think if the mask fits snugly it would certainly help you avoid the virus.

Biggest thing from what I've read is it helps keep you from touching your face.

If you kept the mask continually damp with neat gin, I'm sure it would improve the level of protection...

And anyway, after a while, you wouldn't give a fuck about some puny virus...

But this Autoshow thing was cancelled on the opening day, 600'000 people were expected to attend over the next 10 days, I was there 10 years ago with clients the bank gifted entree vouchers to, imagine the financial implications of cancellations of this kind and it took the government to issue a ban to stop it because the organizers had confirmed only the day before it was definitely taking place!

That's about all it does. We apparently touch our face 20 times a minute.
It becomes a source of the virus unless you refresh it every hour and that is only valid for the heavier masks. You have to take them off the right way too otherwise you spread the virus all over your face and depose of it the correct way.

That will pale into insignificance if they have to cancel the Olympics later in the year.
