We've had 2 days in a row of 7 new cases, after a few days with only one or two, most of the new ones coming from a cluster of recent migrants with little English...

The Premier has flagged that the lifting of restrictions to be announced later today will be only minor, and he wants to see the numbers for another week before relaxing them further...

After zero new cases or deaths today in Victoria, the Premier announced a significant relaxation of restrictions to come into effect this Wednesday, followed by virtually all remaining restrictions on the 8th of November. I hope the numbers keep low...

Right now, our far left :stir: ^politico is ranting about how macron is suppressing our personal freedoms and treating the country as a start up, with himself as CEO and us as hapless employees.

I wonder why some people battle with the concept that compliance with the safety rules allows a society the opportunity to open up sooner.

Scotty won't see it that way. He'll recite one of his mantras to prove his point - to his own satisfaction.
