LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) - A man was taken into custody after allegedly beating and slashing another man at Pawnee Lake on Saturday.

According to a court documents, three men were at Park Lake Area One drinking and cooking, when 29-year-old Omar Hussain and a second man got into an argument. The argument escalated into a fight, in which the second man was cut with a pocketknife.

Court documents said Hussain took the man’s wallet, which contained $4,000, and threw his phone to the ground, breaking it.

According to court documents, Hussain threatened the the man, saying that he’d kill him if he called the police.
