Remember what Shakespeare said: With great power comes great responsibility. Use your special talents wisely.

Or start a group in your part of town?

I think that the neighbours in this fairly conservative suburb are somewhat bemused...

Roger Hallam should go. Have you been talking about him over there Jim?

Only heard about his holocaust comment, no more than that. What else has he been saying?

Basically, the movement needs a leader with the authority to make people do what they're told - and that he's the man for the job. And if you don't like it then go and form your own group.

I've got some material I can share when I'm back at my own PC.

That's certainly against the basic principles of XR as I understand them. It may be a bit time consuming and inefficient, but it builds an organisation where everyone has a stake.

One of our biggest issues is a form of infiltration by members of various hard-left organisations, who try to push a more ideological stance, as well as a tendency to dilute the non-violent message...

Typical, he forms a group according to certain principles, and now that it's a huge success, he wants to forget some, or maybe all, of those principles to get self aggrandizement, or maybe even a power base for an agenda that has little to do with XR as he started it.

I don't really care if women don't want to work in certain jobs, whether that's cultural, biological, evolutionary, or whatever. But I can't help thinking that the sorry state of the world would be a hell of a lot better if women were in charge as opposed to men.

So would Margaret Thatcher. Personally, I wouldn't mind Australia merging with New Zealand, provided Jacinda Ardern remains as Prime Minister rather than Scott Morrison.

Well, so much for voting. Anyone up for non-violent direct action?
