Bullshit. The overwhelming response on the forum, and worldwide (with the exception of some racist turds) has been deep sympathy for the victims, and solidarity with the people of NZ, as well as innocent victims of violence of all races and/or religions. The only exception has been to show justified contempt for victim blamers like Fraser Anning and his ilk. Go egg boy!

We in the UK, who lets face it have had more than our share of terrorist events pretty much always express solidarity with the victims, disgust for the perpetrators and as a rule have been very careful not to judge a whole people by the acts of a Few single minded fanatics. Those who would capitalise on those events and sew division are very small in number. Sadly social media makes their voices louder than they otherwise would be.

I was almost totally deaf as a child due to ear infections and struggled with linking sounds and the alphabet (a problem, what with moving around due to expat life, was not identified). Look, I've avoided some of what was published, and tried to not look for the facts in a way. What I have heard about the writings, were that the guy was very clearly trying to sew division (and sow division)

I don't mind saying, I don't even know what to say. Of course I sympathize with the victims, including too many dead to really understand...it's a huge tragedy, and I wish utter and abject failure to anyone who tries to do what this monster did.

Why the colour of the nut jobs matters isn't as interesting to me as how to reduce this kind of misery. I do get a bit of a fascination with the horrible, but honestly this one is worse than most. Maybe it is the kind of bullshit around it. All large dramatic events attract bullshit, of course this one would, but somehow it seems worse now.
