Said Peter...what you're requesting just isn't my bag
Said Daemon, who's sorry too, but y'see we didn't have no choice
And our hands they are many and we'd be of one voice
We've come all the way from Wigan to get up and state
Our case for survival before it's too late

Turn stone to bread, said Daemon Duncetan
Turn stone to bread right away...

2015
Secret Muslim and Antichrist, Barack HUSSEIN Obama (sworn in on a Quran disguised as a Bible), signs the Iran nuclear deal.
2019:
U.S. media overwhelmingly votes to authorize war with Iran.

2027:
Let’s just say it’s going to be very, very bad.

From everything I read and see, I will be incredibly surprised if the Democrats can stop squabbling and put forward an impressive enough candidate to beat Trump. It will be, again, a case of people not really voting for Trump, but finding no compelling reason to vote for his Democrat opponent...

Perhaps there may be still some Russian influence, but a clear and compelling Democrat candidate could still win it. So far, that seems unlikely.

American posters, please show me how I'm wrong - I'd like to be...

Do you realise Jim the amount of swing required by the Electoral College to win the vote. Trump won it last time by a total of roughly 100,000 votes which in American electoral voting is almost nothing. That is how bent the EC is. No wonder he lost the popular vote by a couple of million but that does not matter. Breaking into a couple of computers without any security is child's play.

Of course Trump will win. Between the Ruskies, the Electoral College, GOP voter suppression, and GOP refusal to take steps to safeguard our elections from foreign attacks, how can he lose? :dunno:

It's a shame, too. This might be the best field of Democratic candidates I've seen in my lifetime. There are three that I actually like, and a few more that I could vote for without even holding my nose. Alas, the system is so broken and corrupted, and the electorate is so deranged and crazed from decades of Fox News/Rush Limbaugh/Breitbart, the worst-case scenario is the most likely one.

From the outside, your system of having cut-throat competition amongst potential candidates for a party seems like a party divided amongst itself...

It will be interesting. One possibility is a kind of numbness where people don't bother to show up to vote. But if Democrats can switch from squabbles on isues to Trump outrage, they can keep it in the news.

Trump will carry 40% no matter what. Warren and Sandsrs the same. Biden might carry 45 % of the vote. TRUMP has lost WI and MI as far as I can tell.

There are definitely some vipers in the mix, but there are also a few grown-ups who stick to the issues and avoid personal attacks. Hopefully, the latter will prevail, but of course all the corporate money is backing the snakes...
