Re: All Things Trump: Is it over yet?
I’ve dealt with worse than Trump. I showed a Christian homeschooler pastor’s wife where to find kingfishers. I think she was pretending to do biology with them.

Said Peter...what you're requesting just isn't my bag
Said Daemon, who's sorry too, but y'see we didn't have no choice
And our hands they are many and we'd be of one voice
We've come all the way from Wigan to get up and state
Our case for survival before it's too late
Turn stone to bread, said Daemon Duncetan
Turn stone to bread right away...

It's also true that Trump supporters aren't Trump. I voted Obama, am I guilty of supporting drone strikes, or failing to close gitmo?
Yeah, ok then.
Yeah, ok then.

Yeah but if that guy has a good deck and is skilled, we may have to wait for the very end of the game for that to happen.

Did you make all sorts of rationalizations and excuses and apologetics for Obama's drone strikes?Sean Hayden wrote: ↑Sat Jan 19, 2019 10:16 pmIt's also true that Trump supporters aren't Trump. I voted Obama, am I guilty of supporting drone strikes, or failing to close gitmo?
Yeah, ok then.
And although he ultimately failed to close Gitmo, he did greatly reduce the number of "detainees". I think he deserves credit for that.

Re: All Things Trump: Is it over yet?
I didn't have to, hardly anybody brings it up.
All I'm saying is we're complicated. A lady spends 40 years as a nurse, works with all kinds of people in all kinds of situations. From kids with cancer to old folks dropping dead under the dinning table. She votes Trump.
Suddenly she's only the nasty things we associate with Trump.
While some kid with zero life experience gets a pass cause he says the right things.
It's absurd.

A vote for Trump, I can forgive. But continuing to support and defend him after everything he's done? That's not so easy...

That's actually pretty standard behavior, to defend your vote. It is even difficult to not vote for the same bozo two times, for those people. It has to hit you hard, like lose your insurance, lose your job, to change candidates. They are more likely to not vote than change parties.

Nah, it's black and white, y'all. Trumpists are even worse than Rethuglicans in general, and should be shot, along with Bernie Bros. Rethuglies can go to reeducation camps to get Woke. Democrits are stupid, lazy welfare cheats and should be sent to prison until they learn to get a real job. Illegals should just stay in the strawberry fields, forever. Unless it's citrus season, of course.
It is known.
It is known.
Yeah well that's just, like, your opinion, man.

Yes you are.Sean Hayden wrote: ↑Sat Jan 19, 2019 10:16 pmIt's also true that Trump supporters aren't Trump. I voted Obama, am I guilty of supporting drone strikes, or failing to close gitmo?
Yeah, ok then.
Not much, but (I get that you are near-joking) I'm glad you recognize it.
Voting is force. If you support a law, you pretty much support destroying a person in upholding that law.
It makes me careful about which laws I would support.
I don't have the same view on it that you do. Doesn't that count for something?
I don't see it as torturing children. I see it as necessary, if awful, results of having laws and enforcing them.
I would vote for laklak. It might end up being hard to support him, two years in, but I would plan to do that, too.

They are the worst. I was proposed by one. She believed her puss was god and I just had to kiss it. Of course I took use of her proposal. I could not care a fuck what she called it.

The guy was apparently a Vietnam veteran, too.

In an interview Saturday, Phillips, 64, said he felt threatened by the teens and that they suddenly swarmed around him as he and other activists were wrapping up the march and preparing to leave.
Phillips, who was singing the American Indian Movement song that serves as a ceremony to send the spirits home, said he noticed tensions beginning to escalate when the teens and other apparent participants from the nearby March for Life rally began taunting the dispersing indigenous crowd.
A few people in the March for Life crowd began to chant “Build that wall, build that wall,” he said.
“It was getting ugly, and I was thinking: ‘I’ve got to find myself an exit out of this situation and finish my song at the Lincoln Memorial,’ ” Phillips recalled. “I started going that way, and that guy in the hat stood in my way and we were at an impasse. He just blocked my way and wouldn’t allow me to retreat.”
Trumpmerica in a nutshell.Phillips, an Omaha tribe elder who fought in the Vietnam War and now lives in Michigan, has long been active in the indigenous rights movement.

No, I'm not. But if you'd like to explain why you think I'm responsible for things I have no control over I'm willing to read it. You can also explain what you mean by supporting destroying someone to uphold a law.Cunt wrote: ↑Sat Jan 19, 2019 11:27 pmYes you are.Sean Hayden wrote: ↑Sat Jan 19, 2019 10:16 pmIt's also true that Trump supporters aren't Trump. Why am I asking this guy this shit? This is why I hate the anonymity of the Internet. It's no good for people like me.
