Re: Media Bias
Hey guys! Anyone seen Forty Two?
Or is there a 'media bias' in this place, pushing away any opinions which don't agree?
I've noticed that while I was gone, the chatter is still almost exclusively about politics, but you guys are a lot less interesting, echoing the mainstream media stuff.
I wonder what will come of yesterdays social media summit, and why Zuckerberg, Dorsey et al didn't get an invite...hmmm...did you guys get one? Or should I just lump you in with the other 'big tech' folks who didn't get an invite...?

Re: Media Bias
If people don't have enough confidence in their views to defend them on an anonymous, non-contemporaneous text-based discussion format like this then they're under no obligation to hang around. Do you think we shouldn't disagree with people just to save their feeling - like giving all the kids a champion's medal on school sports day?

My best guess is that he left due to what he saw as unfair moderation.Brian Peacock wrote: ↑Fri Jul 12, 2019 4:30 pmIf people don't have enough confidence in their views to defend them on an anonymous, non-contemporaneous text-based discussion format like this then they're under no obligation to hang around. Maybe you should ask some members who are 'right of center' politically (as I think Forty Two was) if they see things differently than you.

Welcome back Cunt. Try and stick around a while.

Who knew he was such a snowflake? I thought Trumpophiles were supposed to be tough, manly, alpha males whose diets are devoid of soy products. I guess I was wrong...Cunt wrote: ↑Fri Jul 12, 2019 2:24 pmHey guys! Anyone seen Forty Two?

Re: Media Bias
Since I don't know what the previous suspension was for, I doubt I'll last long. There really isn't much of interest here, now that it is all homogenized. There was just a Social Media Summit at the white house, and all everyone could do was be outraged that the Big Tech Billionaires weren't consulted.Joe wrote: ↑Fri Jul 12, 2019 6:13 pmHe got a one day suspension for personal attacks. Poor Zuch...Poor Dorsey...they didn't get invited to the club comprised of people they would ban from their platforms. My guess is that the entire right will be labeled 'alt-right' and you kids will be cautioned against listening to their harmful messages.
