The US has spent money for building walls in foreign countries with no similar opposition. It's all out of scale.

A crisis it may be, but if it is, it's 80% less of a crisis than 19 years ago, at which time it was not deemed necessary to build a coast to coast wall, and there was no talk of it necessitating the invocation of emergency walls. Not even in the eight years of the G.W.Bush presidency, where the illegal border crossings were at their highest in that timespan. It's all out of scale.

Not to mention the more immediate, disturbing issue of Trump's wall-finance-by-extortion scheme.
