I saw a headline about it from a paranoid site, and searched. My french sucks ass, but it looks like generals DID warn Macron (which seems very unusual to me) but the dates would be summer and maybe earlier, which means the paranoid-site-headline was not correct.

Actually, Le Pen is definitely not behind it, that control freak would only be to happy to be the power to negociate with as things are, they are just riding yellow coat tails, trying to make people think their positions are in accordance to what the yellowvests want, which is only a tiny minority case

Her own forces are a lot less than she would have us believe. Actually, I suspect RN forces/ groups formerly asscociated with the FN, are a lot in the violent protester/rioters, more than the real protesters... either independently or sent deliberately (though I'm not sure, she has been trying to clean up her image, if it came out that she's sending rioters to worsen the situation, that could be her political death) to rotten the situation and force herself as a negociation power.
