Nah, wonderful people really, and not so great, just like anywhere.

I just have a visceral reaction to the accruing of power through bullshit like the endless self-promotion Twitter supports.

McCloskey case goes ahead
https://www.npr.org/sections/live-updat ... grand-jury
The charges stem from a confrontation between the McCloskeys, a white couple who are both personal injury attorneys and have a history of litigation with their neighbors, and a group of mostly Black protesters on June 28. The demonstrators entered the wealthy enclave en route to the home of St. Louis Mayor Lyda Krewson, who lives nearby.
So a counter claim isn't far behind eh?

I heard on the news that the governor of that state has announced his intention of pardoning the couple if they were to be convicted.

I would think that would produce a mindset of "why bother" in the minds of a prosecutor...

Hijo de cabra maricon... there should be ways to get rid of officials who are so obviously unfit for office, and to disenfranchise the trumpanzees who voted for them.
