What question?
Be a bit clearer, and maybe you can get a clearer answer.

The 'Walsh Question' 'What Is A Woman?' I'll put an answer here when someone posts one that is clear and comprehensible, by apostates to the Faith.
Update: I've been offered one!

Re: Republicans: continued
So, you are pretending that you don't know about the existence of groups that aggressively propose, often in public marches, exactly the political ideas that Brian mentioned. They exist, they openly proclaim those racist, violent views, they are growing in some parts of the world, and they need to be opposed. Exactly how they should be opposed is worthy of discussion and argument, but not the fact that they are vile, dangerous and require opposition of some sort.Cunt wrote: ↑Mon Jun 08, 2020 8:55 pmAre you proposing that?Brian Peacock wrote: ↑Mon Jun 08, 2020 8:48 pmWhat about political ideas that advocate racial purity, demand the exclusion or eradication of degenerate races and dissenting viewpoints, and propose the use of violence to achieve those ends? Is that the kind of political speech that should be given a platform, or even appeased?
Or is someone else?
Political ideas are almost always forbidden in some countries with high levels of fascism. Almost always allowed in the freest countries. Between the two there is a lot of grey...but maybe you are talking about a specific group.
Unless you are a fascist sympathiser, of course...

If you have to read into it, or ascribe motive to me that I don't agree with, then you might be a deluded old man...
Sure. Do you think Daryl Davis is doing more for that cause? Or Al Sharpton? They exist, they openly proclaim those racist, violent views, they are growing in some parts of the world, and they need to be opposed.
Of course they do.Exactly how they should be opposed is worthy of discussion and argument, but not the fact that they are vile, dangerous and require opposition of some sort.
Wow, that's classy of you, JimC. I bet you are proud to sneak that personal attack in without consequence.
Unless you are a fascist sympathiser, of course...

Re: Republicans: continued
Surprise! According to two thousand political scientists, the Republican party is illiberal, anti-democratic, and racist, and has more in common with political parties in the third world and Eastern bloc countries than those in the developed world.
more: https://www.newstatesman.com/world/2020 ... al-partiesHow do Trump’s Republicans compare to the rest of the world’s political parties?
On conventional left-right measurements, there’s not much distinguishing America’s Republican party from mainstream conservative movements in Europe. In fact, when it comes to economic left and right, there are governing parties on the right in Europe who are more “extreme”.
On attitudes towards ethnic minorities and respect for liberal democratic values, however, it’s a different story.
The Global Party Survey (GPS), a project authored by Harvard University’s Pippa Norris, has sought to allow international comparisons between political parties on a variety of issues by surveying almost 2,000 academic experts on their relative positions on various spectrums. Those include the social and economic views of those parties, as well as whether they are populist or pluralistic in outlook.
The survey’s findings suggest America’s Republican Party remains “mainstream” in many respects (on a scale of conventional liberalism-conservatism, the GOP sits comfortably near Britain’s Tories and the French Republicans) - but not when it comes to its defending the rights of ethnic minorities and standing up for liberal principles.
On those issues it is far more extreme than Europe’s centre-right governing parties and sits closer to the likes of Austria’s Freedom Party, Turkey’s Justice and Development Party, and India’s Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) - the governing movement often accused of inciting hatred against the country’s Muslim minority.
