White whine - the constant catch-cry of neo-Nazis the world over... :tea:
I read somewhere the until the 18th C, all wine was red. White whine is a modern times invention.
I doubt so, to get red wine you need to macerate the red skins with the white juice (except for the rare "dyer" grapes whose juice is naturally red)... basically, most grapes have white juice, so if you make wine from white grapes, or wine from most red grapes without macerating the skins, you get white wine. Of course, red wine has been known from utmost antiquity, but I doubt white is a recent invention... I mean, Greek retsina has a tradition going back to antiquity too, and it's never red.

Definitely a topic worth researching, especially in the face of so many myths that are reflected even in the price tags.

Wine is not unpleasant, beer, it depends on what beer it is, some are definitely too bitter, but when you know what you like, you can choose the right ones.

vodka, is something else altogether, it's tasteless and good only to get drunk, not to enjoy.

Residue from five clay amphoras in Tutankhamun's tomb, however, have been shown to be that of white wine, so it was at least available to the Egyptians through trade if not produced domestically

Vodka is great exactly because it is tasteless - you can mix it with anything.

I see Nige is up for the high jump:

Robert Mueller 'seeks more information on Nigel Farage' in Russia-Trump investigation
Prosecutors quiz Jerome Corsi, a conservative commentator, about former Ukip leader

Robert Mueller has asked for more details about Nigel Farage during his investigation into Russian interference in US politics, it has been reported.

Prosecutors working for Mr Mueller apparently questioned conservative commentator Jerome Corsi¸ who is expected to be indicted for perjury, about the former Ukip leader.

Mr Mueller has been tasked with heading up the investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 United States elections and has so far interrogated Mr Corsi for more than 40 hours.

Dude, Obamacare was ruined from the start - you triple and quadruple premiums, increase health care costs, and don't even cover most of the "unininsured" - it's a fucking failure.

Why do you think you don't see CNN and the rest of the Democrat media touting how much Obamacare has saved us? Reason one: it hasn't. It costs more. Why do you think that the democrat media doesn't tout how the US per capita cost of health insurance has gone down? Why? Because it hasn't - it's gone up.

Remember, Obamacare was brought on to cover 50 million supposed unininsured - but it didn't. It was also brought on to reduce premiums - and it did not. It was also sold on the reducing per capita health care costs - which have actually gone up.

It's a failure all the way around. Exhibit A is that you don't see Democrats or their CNN darlings touting its successes. They're silent about it it. If there was anything to crow about, they'd be shouting it from the rooftops.
“When I was in college, I took a terrorism class. ... The thing that was interesting in the class was every time the professor said ‘Al Qaeda’ his shoulders went up, But you know, it is that you don’t say ‘America’ with an intensity, you don’t say ‘England’ with the intensity. You don’t say ‘the army’ with the intensity,” she continued. “... But you say these names [Al Qaeda] because you want that word to carry weight. You want it to be something.” - Ilhan Omar

Trump attempting to punish every Hillary voter in the country. Not working. But, pitiful old man, go back to your White House man cave. Come January, Trump is toast. Lame duck at best.
