Mother of slain Florida teen shot during burial service
https://ktla.com/news/nationworld/mothe ... l-service/

So the cop stands in front of the car, thereby putting himself in danger... then fires into the car because his life is in danger.

We are the stupidest country.
The teens were killed when Deputy Jafet Santiago-Miranda fired multiple shots into their car when the teens didn’t pull over. Sheriff Wayne Ivey had said the deputies thought the vehicle might have been stolen, but the teens’ families and lawyer, Natalie Jackson, said they had permission to use the car and called it a case of mistaken identity.

Their deaths captured national interest, with well-known civil rights attorney Benjamin Crump working on behalf of the families in what he called a bid for justice.

Ivey has released dash cam footage from the Nov. 13 shooting that showed the teens pulling into a driveway after being followed by two sheriff’s cars without lights. Crooms, who was driving, then backed out of the driveway and drove forward in the direction of a deputy, who, gun drawn, repeatedly shouted at the teen to stop the car.

The sheriff said in a Facebook post that the deputy “was then forced to fire his service weapon in an attempt to stop the deadly threat of the car from crashing into him.”
People don't care. If the car was stolen then they really don't care. I can't tell you how many times people have attempted to explain to me why killing someone over property is justified.

They hire people without legs as active duty police officers in the US?

We have alternative physics here. It takes less time to murder everyone in a car than it does to step out of the way.

If they step out of the way then criminals will never stop!!!!!!!!!111111111!!!!!!!

Have you noticed how people have forgotten how to pull over for the police these days? Maybe they never knew, but I swear every time I see someone pulled over they've literally just stopped right where the cop turned on their lights, wherever that is. They may be in the only turning lane, or in the left lane on a busy two lane road, it's rare to see anyone go ahead and continue until they can get out of the way. I wonder if everyone is scared shitless!?

Agents with the Florida Department of Law Enforcement raided the home of a former Department of Health employee Monday credited with creating the state’s COVID-19 tracking dashboard. Agents were looking for evidence that she unlawfully gained access to a health department messaging platform, according to the warrant.

Rebekah Jones was fired from the Florida Department of Health in May after she says she declined to “manipulate” state virus numbers. Gov. Ron DeSantis’ office says Jones was fired for insubordination. Jones later started her own competing dashboard at floridacovidaction.com.

The data scientist posted a video Monday evening showing law enforcement with guns drawn enter her Tallahassee home, where she says her two children, 2 and 11 years old, were inside.

DeSantis appointee quits over raid on ex-state worker’s home

A man appointed to a commission that recommends judicial appointments to Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis has resigned citing the search warrant served on a former Department of Health employee who has criticized the state’s COVID-19 data.

Ron Filipowski announced his resignation from the 12th Circuit Judicial Nomination Commission on Twitter on Tuesday, saying a raid at the home of Rebekah Jones was unconscionable.

Data is very dangerous. So you must be armed when dealing with data scientists.
