US Demands Iran Shutter All Uranium Enrichment Plants
U.S. Moves to Shutter All Iranian Nuclear Enrichment Sites in Major Reversal of Obama Policy http://freebeacon.com/national-security ... ma-policy/
“When I was in college, I took a terrorism class. ... The thing that was interesting in the class was every time the professor said ‘Al Qaeda’ his shoulders went up, But you know, it is that you don’t say ‘America’ with an intensity, you don’t say ‘England’ with the intensity. You don’t say ‘the army’ with the intensity,” she continued. “... But you say these names [Al Qaeda] because you want that word to carry weight. You want it to be something.” - Ilhan Omar

Yeah, they don't need a domestic nuclear power program when they have all that lovely oil :tea;

Republicans might be less warlike than Democrats in the US, they can still put a show on when needed, or not.

Re: US Demands Iran Shutter All Uranium Enrichment Plants
Why should the US interfere in another country's peaceful use of nuclear power?
Enrichment to power plant levels of uranium fuel takes the % of U-235 from 0.7% (the natural level) to around 4% (depending on the reactor design). Even this is a fairly difficult process, using banks of centrifuges.
To take the U-235 % to 90%, which is needed for weapons grade material, is many orders of magnitude harder. The United Nations inspectors are confident that they can ensure that such major additional processing cannot take place. I'd rather believe them than a pig-ignorant US president...
