I'm interested in models of systems and can see how universal basic income might resolve several issues. Also the transition from capitalism to what is effectively a form of communism will not be like changing a lightbulb. More like a dangerous roller-coaster that could throw the passengers into a Ukraine style industrial famine or fascism or stalinism or something worse like the Maya or Ancient Romans come back...when you start to think of ways it could go wrong you begin to treat the idea with the respect it deserves. The question of our times with that AI revolution ready to take so many middle income jobs and in motion already, universal basic income is a question that can't be delayed.
