I sometimes watch Live PD on Friday nights (yeah, I'm that old), and cops in places like Michigan often run into them. One guy gets pulled over, no license plate, no driver's license, no insurance, and starts with the "The Constitution doesn't require.." shtick. The cop holds up his hand and says "Look. we're not going all sovereign here, I don't have the time for it" and writes the tickets. They're lunatic fringe, but they got guns.
