Xochitl Hinojosa, communications director for the Democratic National Committee (DNC), sparked confusion this week after stating during an appearance on Fox News that it is crucial for the party to hold its convention, because they are “not officially nominating Joe Biden in order to take Donald Trump.”

Of course, if Xochitl is just another 'Galaxian', then it doesn't mean anything.

If, however, they are really the communications director, you should maybe reconsider.

I can't speak for anybody else, but I adore it when you come romping up with another rotten old squirrel stinking of rancid misinformation. Perhaps you actually believe that Hinojosa was implying that Biden will not be the nominee of the Democratic Party. It wouldn't surprise me if you believe that, because you seem to revel in being clued-in on the latest delusions sweeping through the fever swamps.

What you have here is a semi-competent flak, blithering out her talking points and not covering herself in glory. Like pretty much all political talking heads, she doesn't actually address questions, but makes awkward pivots from the question to spew the noise she'd already decided on spewing during her appearance. Though a fair percentage of what she's saying is incoherent, one thing is unmistakable--she's ardently supporting Biden. The quote is accurate, but she failed to make herself clear. In context it's obvious that what she's trying to say is that there must be a Democratic convention because that's how Biden will become the official Democratic Party nominee.

But you go ahead and believe the Breitbart version if it makes you happy.

But I really wish the US Dems could have a better candidate. He comes off incompetent when you listen to his words. (or watch him interacting with women and girls over the years)
