Yeah - and have a go at me too for saying so.
Not gonna have a go at you, but you should read Karl Popper on the Paradox of Tolerance.
I have read that stuff and I don't agree with him. I know when I'm dealing with reasonable people. I don't know what you are like in RL these days but when we have met you always struck me as reasonable and sociable - as well as exceedingly bright.

These days here you pop on - have a pop at someone - and pop off again.

Join in and engage. 42 is not the spawn of Satan...though there are one or two here who just might be.
42 supports a racist, misogynistic, fraudster, rapist, con artist who has ripped-off and damaged many people and makes excuses for this behaviour. I don't think he's Satan, but I can't see how he can be considered a good person. I'd rather not associate with him.

Not sure what he has to do with this thread.
Oh, well, here's the thing. I don't agree that Donald Trump is racist, a rapist, a con artist or a fraudster. On the misogyny issue, I would say he's an old-school ladies man who scores himself points by scoring the ladies, and views them as trophies. I would say he is rather self-centered and in that regard narcissistic, and concerned with his own pleasure and he is very concerned with personal gain. I don't think he's a nice guy, and he's probably very difficult to work for, with a penchent for getting loud and treating employees poorly if they do not give him everything he wants.

However, there is no evidence of him being a racist. Quite the opposite in his history and actions.

All of the things you've listed are things Bill Clinton was accussed of too -- being a racist with his crime reform Bill and the superpredators thing, as well as the way he rain campaigns in the 70s and 80s -- in Arkansas -- remember, he was a successful politician in Arkansas. He was accused of being a fraudster and a con artist with land deals and other financial chicanery, and he was accused of being a rapist (Juanita Broadrick and others) and a misogynist womanizer. Yet, for all those allegations, many people supported him and still support him. Are they also to receive condemnation, because the supported a politician who was arguably all of those things you descry?

You can't see how I can be considered a good person? Well, in my favor I would argue that one can support a politician who has lots of failings, and still be a good person. It is also quite possible to disagree in assessing the negatives associated with a particular person. Maybe we just disagree, as I noted, as to some or all of the factors that you appear to take for granted.

Is Hillary Clinton a good person? Can you see how she could be a good person?

Who was Hillary praising there? Senator Robert Byrd (Democrat - WV), former Exalted Cyclops of the Ku Klux Klan.

The same guy who said, "I shall never fight in the armed forces with a negro by my side ... Rather I should die a thousand times, and see Old Glory trampled in the dirt never to rise again, than to see this beloved land of ours become degraded by race mongrels, a throwback to the blackest specimen from the wilds." — Robert C. Byrd, in a letter to Sen. Theodore Bilbo (Democrat - MS) And, "The Klan is needed today as never before, and I am anxious to see its rebirth here in West Virginia and in every state in the nation."

Bill Clinton and Al Gore - Sons of the New South, complete with confederate flag regalia.... https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/the ... 58b3848879

How could one be a good person, and support a racist?

What are the odds Starbucks has anything like a genuine problem here?
They don't. If anyone thought they really kicked black people out, they'd have a problem. But pretty much everyone has been to a Starbucks, and everyone knows they serve customers equally. Nobody gives a fuck if a black guy is in Starbucks. The very idea that this is something that a clerk at Starbucks would try to do is ridiculous. That $10 an hour clerk doesn't give a fuck who buys coffee there. They just don't want paying customers coming in and seeing that people are taking up tables without paying. The tables are there for customers.

That's the problem I have with Starbucks. The coffee is burned, which is how they use cheaper beans to make a stronger tasting coffee, and people add massive amounts of cream and sugars to compensate. I don't enjoy Starbucks coffee at all.

Yeah, they are nicknamed "Charbucks" in certain quarters. I've heard it's a style preferred in the wet northwestern US, but it's not to my liking.

interestingly, charred coffee might be southern trend : the two highest kinds of roast are respectively Italian (highest) and French... personally I prefer lighter roasts.

Heaven is a place where coffee tastes as good as it smells.

And the women are all beautiful and the children are all above average.

Honestly, I don't think I've had a great cup of coffee in almost 20 years. The last great coffee I had was just some yirgacheffee beans from a grocery store in Austin I can't remember the name of. --french pressed that coffee was divine

Maybe in Ireland blacks are singled out in this way, but in the US, I assure, you, loitering without being a customer of the store is frowned upon regardless of race, color, creed or national origin.
Loitering for two minutes is a problem!?

Don't point it out to him, though. He'll go all huffy if you do.
