America is finished. It had a great run but now it's basically a empty fuel tank. Cheap oil gave it a edge in the 20th Century, in the era of oil scarcity and climate change....it's turned its back on renewable sources. Battery/renewable technology is taking off every where and America will keep relying on oil like a dinosaur. Eventually the dollar will collapse, as folks don't want to trade with a planet killer nation....said it'd come to this when the colony broke away.

Foreign money gave it an edge in an otherwise unwinnable war. But now that spring has been emptied, and America seems unable and even unwilling to repay the debt.
