He is not really thinking through. That too is stupidity. Supporting MAGA people will lead to fewer electric cars made in the long run.

He will hold on to the space business. The republicans can be sold on space missions because of security.

He can lose it all. He is not diversified like Warren Buffet.

That's Musk the idea man. He thinks up whack shit, and depends on reality or those around him to keep it in check.

Bought twitter on a whim, late at night, just bored and realised he could - showing one click purchases are not without risk for the buyer.

qctually not, he noticed the thing was not what he wanted, but when he tried to pull out of the deal, he got his arm bent by people who wanted the money more than the property... and of course, now he's stuck with it and can't get it to do what he wants.

He didn't want to pay the 'get me out of this' penalty, which I think was a billion or few. A slight haircut for him, but it appears egoism romped all over business sense, et voila.

Well, at least, now, we're being treated to a plane crash in slow motion, and I guess part of the airport might catch fire too...

All he needs to do is collateralise the business, borrow on it, pay himself a massive bonus, and then sell it along with its debts. It's the America way.

It looks like three of the four engines are on fire, and the other one is smoking. The pilot appears to be jettisoning the fire suppression equipment, but maybe he knows what he's doing. :hehe:

A stinging nickname for Twitter owner Elon Musk trended this week on his own social media platform: “space Karen.”

The term — a mashup reference to Musk’s ambitions with rocket company SpaceX and a pejorative label usually used to describe a white woman showing privileged behavior — has been tweeted before. But it was turbocharged Friday and early Saturday after a man reportedly calling himself a “projection activist” cast a series of mocking monikers onto the company’s San Francisco headquarters, with photos and video of his projections going viral.

And hey, Tweetolini has had his account restored. Things are looking up. :tut:

'Elon Musk restores Donald Trump’s Twitter account'

Former US President Donald Trump’s Twitter account has been reinstated on the platform.

The account, which Twitter banned following the January 6 attack on the Capitol, was restored after Twitter CEO Elon Musk posted a poll on Twitter on Friday night asking the platform’s users if Trump should be reinstated.

“The people have spoken. Trump will be reinstated,” Twitter’s new owner Elon Musk tweeted Saturday night. “Vox Populi, Vox Dei,” Latin for “the voice of the people is the voice of God.”

The final poll results on Saturday night showed 51.8% in favor and 48.2% opposed. The poll included 15 million votes.

The much-anticipated decision from the new owner sets the stage for the former president’s return to the social media platform where he was previously its most influential, if controversial user, with almost 90 million followers and tweets that often moved the markets, set the news cycle and drove the agenda in Washington.

Trump has previously said he would remain on his platform, Truth Social, instead of rejoining Twitter, but a change in his approach could hold major political implications.

I see. Kids decided to rebel and Musk now hates "transgender" and all other nonstandard genders.
....the couple decided to use IVF to continue their family.[411] They had twins in 2004 followed by triplets in 2006.[411] The couple divorced in 2008 and shared custody of their children.[412][413] In 2022, one of the twins officially changed her name to reflect her gender identity, and to use Wilson as her last name because she no longer wished to be associated with Musk.[414] In an October 2022 interview with FT.com, Musk blamed the estrangement of his daughter on what the Financial Times characterized as "the supposed takeover of elite schools and universities by neo-Marxists."

Ugh, don’t envy today’s kids competing with their genders! It was bad enough when all that mattered was money.
