I see no evidence of him "enraging swing voters." He's enraged you and other folks who loathed him before. It looks to me like moderates who could go either way are largely happy with the results, and are not going to let tweets and unfortunate quotes mar the good results.

Sure, but that's "voters" in general, so it's not testing the Trump supporters per se. Of course all the Democrats are going to say they're embarrassed.

Also, I'm embarrassed by some of what he's said too, but in the end, voting for him for reelection is going to come down to job performance, and if 2018 proceeds like 2017, there are going to be some different evaluations of him come the end the year.

The embarrassed people will weigh that against results.

Yes. I thought you conservative types understood the concept of living within your means. Borrowing money to cover plummeting revenue isn't a sustainable, let alone intelligent, approach.
