The net neutrality thing seems to be a move by telecoms firms to get their hooks into the revenue streams of Facebook, Google, and Twitter etc. All those people using all those services at a flat rate can't be allowed - now the ISPs will say, if you want to access those sites that everybody else want's to access at the same time then you're going to have to pay extra for that bit of bandwidth.
The argument goes that the new rules will encourage innovation and competition - but as yet nobody can give a concrete example of how either i) the current system stifles competition and inovation, or ii) how the new rules with increase it.

As you can see from the Netflix tweet, net neutrality increases innovation. They say they wouldn't be where they are without it.

"Blow it your ass, fuckface" is always a reasonable response to anyone who helped put that orange, fascist, pig fuck in the White House.Forty Two wrote:As usual, it's my fault. Moreover, anyone who's dumb enough to believe that killing elephants makes more elephants has no business explaining anything to anyone.

Trump:Our factories have left — so many of them — gone, but they're all coming back. And you see it, even before we do this, they're starting to come back. Our country’s starting to do really well again. And as a country, we're being respected again. We’re being respected again.
NPR:
Factories nationwide have added 171,000 jobs so far in 2017 — a rebound from the previous year when factories shed 16,000 jobs. Trump has promised to lead a renaissance in American manufacturing. The sector has generally been adding jobs since 2010, although the strength of export-oriented factories is strongly tied to what is happening in the global economy.
Trump:
We didn’t become great through massive taxation and Washington regulation. And by the way, we are cutting regulation at a rate never seen before in the history of our country.
We became great because our people, our families, and because of our freedom. We became great because of our drive to find the next horizon, to unlock the next mystery and to begin the next adventure. You know what I’m talking about.
NPR:Trump paints a picture of a country smothered by “massive taxation.” But if you consider the total tax burden – federal, state and local – taxes consume just over a quarter of the U.S. economy, well below the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development average of 34 percent, let alone in countries like Denmark, France and Belgium where the tax burden tops 40 percent. In 2017, federal tax receipts were just over 18 percent of GDP. While it’s politically unpopular, some — like former Treasury Secretary Larry Summers — argue the federal government needs higher taxes, not lower taxes, to address the needs of an aging population, growing inequality and rising national security costs. Indeed, Trump is proposing a trillion-dollar tax cut at the same time he is calling for a large increase in military spending.

Trusted Fox giving too factual news?
LOL:
Between June and December, Mr Trump’s favourability rating dropped significantly from 90 per cent to 58 per cent among poll respondents who said they trust Fox over any other news network.
