Re: Ecocide watch.
Goes against rainbow's logic (if it exists). Masks are useless just look at the increase as nothing else has changed.

I thought you said no-one in Holland wears these masks?Scot Dutchy wrote: ↑Wed Dec 16, 2020 8:44 am

...so to conclude that the increase it due to mask wearing has contributed means that you were lying about compliance.
Or you weren't lying and the increase is due to people not wearing masks.
Which one is it?
Take your time.

Florida just took a huge step backward in the clean energy revolution. Gov. Ron DeSantis signed a piece of legislation into law earlier this week that requires Florida cities and towns to keep using fossil fuels and could strangle their ability to set clean energy goals and mandates.

Doesn't do that from my reading of it, it says they cannot ban the use of any fuel. Doesn't stop them from switching to renewables.

Re: Ecocide watch.
It's cheating, actually. If the vehicle in the foreground were a dual-cab like the one in the back, either its wheel base would be much the same, or its cargo tray would be less than half its present length.
It is possible to point out the absurdity even better without pretending to compare like with like.

Re: Ecocide watch.
Not allowed here as the wheel base is too wide.

It is actually a truck and can be registered as such.

Re: Ecocide watch.
Depends on what you do with the truck. The standard pickup size in the U.S. is something like the larger one in Seabass' picture, either a 3/4 or 1 ton with a reasonable towing capacity., a very useful vehicle. Ours is similar, it's a 3/4 ton and will tow 10,000 pounds, I would like a slightly larger one but they're too expensive to even consider at the moment. The small one is a little half ton at best, you see a lot of them in Mexican neighborhoods, they turn them into low riders with tiny little wheels. You see trucks like the one Hermit posted towing big gooseneck or 5th wheel trailers or smaller commercial loads. If you own one and don't need that capacity then you're the sort of asshole who would own a Hummer.
